Inner Thread is making public commitments to the environment and community. We've committed to completely reducing virgin forest fiber packaging and offering eco-friendly packaging alternatives for all products by end. With the support of Prana we'll be setting goals for future operations.
Packaging
3 billion trees are logged every year for packaging - many from endangered forests. That’s why we’ve partnered with Prana’s Responsible Packaging Movement to support next generation solutions without single-use plastic or virgin forest fiber.
Production
From dying to cut-and-sew, all elements of garment production occur here in California. We know our vendors by name. By prioritizing local production, Inner Thread has reduced its total carbon footprint and reinvested in local businesses.
Fabric
With minimal growing requirements, bamboo has a lower environmental impact than traditional clothing crops—making it an obvious selection for Inner Thread. Farmed from low-impact, pesticide-free bamboo, our certified-organic fabric meets OEKO, OCS and GOTS standards. Our Partners have cut out the unneeded chemicals and focused on environmentally safe, low-reactive components.
